FOUNDER’S BIO

Edward Tucker, President and CEO of Plasticoncentrates, Inc., has 30 plus years of Engineered Thermoplastic Color Technology experience, the last 7 years of his Corporate America roles where leading Global Color Technology leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies.

Ed spent the last three years of his corporate career co-designing and building GE Colorxpress, a Center of Excellence within GE Plastics. Prior to GE, Ed spent 9 years at AlliedSignal Engineering Plastics (now BASF) where he worked as a Color Chemist and ultimately Color Lab Manager; Ed also worked as North American Color Technology Manager for DSM Engineering Plastics.

Ed obtained an Executive MBA from The Lally School of Management and Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, in May of 2000, and a Chemistry degree from Radford University, Radford, VA in 1985.

Edward actually caught the entrepreneurial bug as a child in Sierra Leone – his very first business was a magic troupe! Now in business for almost 20 years, Edward sees the potential for Opportunity Zones to connect businesses with investors who want to see communities changed for the better with their investments.
