Today we had the pleasure of visiting Plasticoncentrates CEO Edward Tucker and his VP Marionne Tucker at their factory space to learn about their story, see their plastic production space, and capture some footage to share with potential #OpportunityZone investors. Edward actually caught the entrepreneurial bug as a child in Sierra Leone – his very first business was a magic troupe! Now in business for almost 20 years, Edward sees the potential for Opportunity Zones to connect businesses with investors who want to see communities changed for the better with their investments. Edward and Marionne enjoy helping their employees to grow not just as professionals but also as people – as Marionne said, “Yes, our plastics are important, but we couldn’t do anything without the people who produce them. It all starts with people”.
